The fourth presentation of the public call for grants for the construction of biomass/biogass fired combined heat and power plants held in Kruševac

On June 11, 2015, the third presentation of the Public Call for Grants for the construction of biomass/biogas fired combined heat and power (CHP) facilities was organised at the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of Kruševac (CCK).
Following the greeting of the President of the CCK, Mr Predrag Vukićević, the representatives of the institutions that have designed and will implement the Public Call presented its conditions, purpose and technical details. Mr Rastislav Kragić, Advisor in the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia, and Ms Maja Matejić, Energy Portfolio Manager of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Manager of the Project „Reducing Barriers to accelerate the Development of Biomass Markets in Serbia“ introduced the possibilities the Public Calls offers, and later answered the questions of the interested companies, cooperatives and individuals that attended the event.
Thanks to this presentation, the interested investors and the representatives of relevant institutions got familiar with its goal, model, conditions and the results it should lead to.
The Public Call announced by the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia in order to support the investpors to construct up to eight biomass/biogas CHP facilities will be opened until October 15, 2015. The funding for the realisation of the Call in the total value of 1.6 million USD is provided by the Global Environment Fund (GEF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the Project „Reducing Barriers to accelerate the Development of Biomass Markets in Serbia“.
